In practice

Why this is the part that costs you money

A carrier packet is the paperwork a broker requires before they will move freight with you. Every broker has their own version, every version wants slightly different things, and a packet sitting half-finished is a broker you cannot book with.

The work itself is not difficult. It is just relentless — the same MC verification, W-9, insurance certificate, Notice of Assignment and banking details, entered again in a different order on a different portal, thirty times over.

We complete them in volume and we complete them correctly the first time, because a packet returned for a missing signature costs three days. For a new authority especially, the number of brokers you are set up with is the ceiling on how much freight you can access.

How it runs

Carrier Setup, step by step

  1. 1

    Your documents are collected once

Authority, insurance certificate, W-9, Notice of Assignment, banking and factoring details — gathered in a single pass.

  2. 2

    Packets are completed in volume

We work through broker portals and email packets in batches rather than one at a time when a load appears.

  3. 3

    Insurance certificates are requested correctly

Most brokers require the certificate to name them specifically. Getting this wrong is the commonest cause of a rejected packet.

  4. 4

    Setups are tracked

Who you are live with, who is pending, and who needs a renewed certificate before they will book again.

What carriers get wrong

The mistake: setting up brokers only when a load appears

A carrier who waits until they want a specific load to start a setup will lose that load. Broker onboarding takes anywhere from an hour to several days. The setups have to exist before the freight does — which is why we build the list in advance rather than reactively.

Questions

Carrier Setup — common questions

How long does a broker setup take?

Anywhere from under an hour to several days, depending entirely on the broker. Some are automated portals; some are a person who processes packets twice a week.

How many brokers should I be set up with?

More than you think. The number of active setups is effectively the size of the market you can access, and a broker you are not set up with may as well not exist when a good load appears.

Do you handle the insurance certificate requests?

Yes, we request them from your agent with the broker named correctly. That naming detail is the single most common reason a packet gets sent back.

No price list

See it before you commit to anything

We do not publish rates. The honest answer depends on your equipment, your lanes, how many trucks you run and how you like to operate — and a number posted on a page has to ignore all of that to exist at all.

What we offer instead is a free trial week. We take your operating preferences, complete your broker setups, find you a load, negotiate the rate and run the week with you. Everything described on this page is included — it is the real service, not a trimmed demonstration of it. If the week justified itself we carry on and talk terms. If not, you owe nothing and you keep the revenue from the load.

To start we need your active operating authority, a certificate of insurance and a signed W-9. With those in hand, broker carrier packets can begin the same day.
